Spring in North Carolina Means It’s Time For a Tune-Up!

Cold weather and salty roads are tough on your car. Freezing weather can crack hoses and belts, salt and road sludge can lead to rust and engine fluids can run low. It's a good idea to schedule a spring maintenance check-up to reduce wear and tear and get ready for summer road trips. Check the Outside

Wash Your Car - A detailed wash and wax will keep your vehicle looking its best. Don't forget to scrub the wheels and tires.

Check Your Wipers - Replace every six months for best wear.

Check Your Tires - Check the tread for uneven wear and look for any bulges or bald spots. This could indicate you need a wheel alignment.

Clean Up the Inside Too

Take some time to clean the inside of your vehicle too, either by doing it yourself or taking it for professional auto detailing. Consider new seat covers and floor mats. Go through your emergency kit to replenish old items and look over any other items that live in your car, such as gym bags.
